Bloor Street Entertains 2017 Co-Chair

Sylvia Mantella, Chief Marketing Officer, joined Mantella Corporation in 2008. Established in 1947, Mantella Corporation is one of the largest independently-owned land development companies in Canada, and Mrs. Mantella assumed her position as CMO in 2010. As a well-recognized philanthropist, Mrs. Mantella advises and advocates for more than 10 charities, boards, advisory boards and committees, locally and globally. Sylvia Mantella co-founded The Mantella Exotic Animal Sanctuary and Conservation in 2009, a 100% not-for-profit organization critical in protecting, adopting and rehabilitating numerous endangered species. Mrs. Mantella joined the CANFAR Board of Directors in 2017, and this will be her third year co-chairing Bloor Street Entertains. She is thrilled to be co-chairing Bloor Street Entertains alongside Canadian Supermodel Coco Rocha.

Bloor Street Entertains 2017 Co-Chair

Ms. Coco Rocha is a Canadian-born supermodel whose engaging social media presence has attracted millions of followers, making her one of the most influential names in fashion. Recognized internationally as a master in her field, in 2014 Rocha published her first book, a 1000-page encyclopedia of poses from fashion, pop and art history entitled Study of Pose. As a model, Ms. Rocha has been muse to many of the world’s greatest living photographers, most notably Steven Meisel who jump-started her career more than a decade ago. Since that time, she has worked with the biggest luxury brands in the world including Chanel, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, and many more. In 2016, Ms. Rocha announced the launch of her own agency, Nomad Management, where she helps guide the career of more than 75 international models. In addition to her work in the fashion industry, she is known for her philanthropy and has been active for many years, raising awareness for the need of more bone marrow donors, and standing up for the rights and protections of underage models. Ms. Rocha is very excited to be supporting CANFAR through her role as Co-Chair of Bloor Street Entertains 2017.
